Przemys\u0142aw Dul\u0119ba)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A new publication will soon be available in our store: a two\u2011volume study of the Nowa Cerekwia site.<\/p>\n\n<p><div><strong>THE SITE OF NOWA CEREKWIA<\/strong>&#13;\nwas discovered and was verified in the mid-19th century. All of the observations \u2013 in the area of the alleged settlement as well as single surface finds \u2013 indicate that the location functioned between the end of the 4th c. and the beginning of the 1st c. BC. The analysis of vessel typochronology, as well as the chronology of single metal artefacts, support this dating. The form and construction of houses, their layout, and the organisation of economic areas, confirm the thesis that the Nowa Cerekiew agglomeration was a multi-phase spatial structure. The recovered vessel inventories, the varied typology and chronology of ceramics, and the differences in the quality of production all point to several phases of development. The economic zone is characterised by a large number of pits, rich inventories, numerous instances of iron ore processing, and artefacts connected with weaving and textile production.
